Why Metal Buildings?

Why Builders Choose Metal Buildings

Pre-engineered steel systems get your structure up faster, and keep it standing longer, than conventional framing.

Fast Construction

Pre-engineered systems arrive ready to erect, reducing installation time on site.

Long Lasting

Steel resists rot, termites, and weather damage over the life of the building.

Large Clear Span

Open interiors without interior load-bearing walls, ideal for warehouses and shops.

Lower Maintenance

Minimal upkeep over the building’s lifetime compared to wood-framed structures.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is a PEMB?

A PEMB (pre-engineered metal building) is a steel structure designed and fabricated by a manufacturer using standardized rigid-frame systems. It still requires a stamped foundation plan, and often a stamped structural plan set, matched to your site's soil, wind, and snow conditions.

Do you engineer commercial metal buildings?

Yes. We coordinate structural plans for commercial warehouses, retail buildings, distribution centers, and industrial facilities, in addition to standard PEMBs.

Do your plans include foundation design?

Yes. Every metal building plan set includes foundation design, anchor bolt layout, and footing details sized to your column reactions and site conditions.

Are your plans accepted nationwide?

Yes. We route every project to a licensed PE registered in the jurisdiction where your building will be permitted.

Can you work from supplier drawings?

Yes. Send us your manufacturer's preliminary drawings and reaction loads and we'll build the permit-ready plan set around them.

Do you engineer Butler, Varco Pruden, Nucor, or other building systems?

Yes. We work with reaction loads and drawings from all major metal building manufacturers, regardless of which system you're building.

How long does engineering take?

Turnaround depends on jurisdiction and project size, but you'll receive a firm timeline with your quote.

Can I revise my plans later?

Yes. If your project scope changes after delivery, we can coordinate a revision with your assigned engineer.
